After putting them through torture tests with pro riders who have been bending steel axles, we're happy to announce we haven't had any failures and they are now in stock and ready to ship.
Machined out of 6AL-4V Grade 5 Titanium
OEM bolt head sizes on the the shaft and nut
Nylock titanium nut to prevent loose axles. Nylock is preferred over metal locking when using Grade-5 titanium to prevent galling issues. Since titanium does not stretch like steel when torqued, you run the risk of the axle threads and nut welding themselves to each other when torque is applied, and this effect is amplified with the excess friction of a metal locking nut.
Rear axle length is designed to be used with aftermarket A-Arms (BBR, Foes, etc) but will fit OEM arm as well.
